Millions of people do skilled work every day in a language they learned later in life. They are rarely unclear, but when a listener mishears, the cost lands on them. janqua exists to make those moments rarer, without asking anyone to sound like someone else.
Why we built it
Most pronunciation tools either grade a whole sentence with a single number, or chase "native-like" speech. Neither helps someone who is already clear most of the time and needs to fix the few sounds that trip listeners up.
janqua looks at every sound against native speech for the dialect a learner chooses, and turns that into specific, practical guidance, so practice time goes where it makes the biggest difference.
